Bewick Café

We partner with [Small Hours Interactive] because he gets us: the creativity, the care, and the eye for detail he brings to our visual identity is exactly the spirit we want Bewick to carry.
Nicole Pederson-Bates, Chef-Owner of Bewick Café

When chef Nicole Peterson-Bates and her husband Andrew Bates cooked up the concept for their new restaurant, they called on Small Hours to provide the visual identity. They came to us with a backstory and a cookbook from 1932 for inspiration. Named for the Bewick wren, a bird that builds its nest together with its mate, the café is a cozy neighborhood spot for coffee, fresh pastries, and savory sandwiches by day, and delicious cocktails by night.

Small Hours Interactive is primarily a digital studio but we love to nerd out on print materials. We created a suite of paper-based assets for the café including menus, posters, table numbers, postcards, and stickers.
